Copper: Care Instructions
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR COPPER ART PIECE?
It is not complicated at all!
We would be delighted in guiding you.
It all depends with the type of finish you have for each of your copper piece.
ROSE MATTE
This finish is the most common. Mainly used on dry soft cloth or cloth. CLEANING MAINTENANCE: SILVER Accessories and kitchen utensils.
CLEANING
Wash thoroughly with a scourer and soap for regular use for dishes.
WASHING TYPE
Regular hand soap liquid is ok to use.
DRYING
Drain or dry on a with stiff fibers. Do not scratch with objects.
MAINTENANCE
This finish oxidizes with the use of citrus, if allowed setting the copper will take a greenish color (copper oxide). It's important not to let leave leftover food for a long time (lemon slices, fruit, food, etc...).
BRIGHT ROSE
A very popular finish!
CLEANING
Damp soft cloth.
MAINTENANCE
In case the piece features a decorative element and looses a bit of a shine with time we recommend you use Metal Cream and use with a dry soft cloth. Use until you reach your desired shine.
ESMERALDA
This exterior color tends to take on a rust green or old rust color (like the greenish color of the Statue of Liberty in New York).
CLEANING
Damp soft cloth.
GOLD FOIL WITH OIL (PAINTED)
